The Stroke Rehabilitation Program provides treatment for adults who have recently had a stroke.
The Adult Stroke Inpatient Program supports patients and families in adjusting to the changes caused by a stroke. The goal of the program is to help patients develop the highest level of independence possible. Along with our patients and their families, we work on communication skills, physical abilities, and social and emotional well-being. This inpatient program includes:
- education about the causes of a stroke and what happens afterward
- offering patients referrals to other services.
The goal of the program is for the client to return to their community and live independently. The average length of stay is between 2 to 5 weeks.
