A short-term (30-day) emergency shelter located in High River. Our purpose is to provide a safe, supportive environment for women and their children who have left violent and abusive situations, and are in need of emergency housing.

Facility includes:
- 24 beds in 7 bedrooms (1 is wheelchair accessible)
- communal kitchen
- intake and counselling rooms
- interfaith spiritual care room
- multi-sensory room
- Specialized Children's Program - focuses on building self-esteem and teaching coping skills for managing anxiety; moms are encouraged to be a part of their child’s learning by utilizing structure in the Child Support Centre where staff can assist in modelling healthy relationships, positive interactions, and child-centered play to facilitate a healthy parent-child attachment
Programming and services include:
- a welcome basket upon arrival that typically includes a set of toiletries, slippers, and a journal; basic clothing (pajamas, underwear, t-shirts, and leggings) on-site to get clients through the first few days and can arrange vouchers to shop for other items of clothing they may need beyond that
- morning meeting at the start of each day to build community and trustworthiness - focus on gratitude and positive affirmations, setting intentions for the day, and offer of support
- goal setting and safety - danger assessment tool, safety planning, resiliency mapping, and resident-focused goal setting
- trauma-informed crisis support and community referrals and client advocacy in a number of different areas to support choice and collaboration
- opportunities for empowerment including Healthy Relationship Education group, Parenting Support group, and Healing Circles
