Provides animal control, bylaw, and animal - related services for Red Deer and surrounding areas.
Service offers:
a variety of animal - related services in Red Deer and surrounding areas
Includes:
investigation and response to animal - related complaints and inquiries such as injured animals, barking complaints, dog attack or bite incidents, and defacation complaints
patrols scheduled on different days of the week as well as at different times of the day, and may include some extended hours during the summer months
sheltering services for cats and dogs impounded under local enforcement bylaws
animal licensing and registration
spay / neuter program that includes all animals for adoption and is done prior to placement
service is equipped to deal with all domestic and exotic animals including snakes, lizards, guinea pigs, and other small mammals or reptiles.
