This virtual education and exercise program is for people who have osteoporosis(verified with bone density test).
The program includes 90-minute classes for five to seven weeks depending on scheduling. Classes consist of educational lectures and practical exercise demonstrations by a Physical Therapist, allowing time for observation of participants performing the exercises. Sessions may include a Registered Dietician and Pharmacist. The virtual format allows for eight participants each session. - lifting techniques
- lower abdominal activation exercises
- gentle spinal decompression exercises
- flexibility exercises
- upper and lower body strenghtening
