To access service, report concerns by:
- contacting police member's direct supervisor
- calling the Professional Standards Branch Intake Line
- completing an online contact form
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing to Chief of Police and include:
- signature of complainant where practicable
- who, what, when, where, and how of the situation
- names of any witnesses
- information specific to the actions of the officer or the police service
Written complaints can be mailed to or dropped off at police headquarters.
