You need to be referred by the courts, probation, and other community agencies.
Referrals by court order for pre-trial and pre-sentence assessments should include a clear referral question and all background information (e.g. details of the offence, police reports, court transcripts, and criminal record, agreed statements of fact, etc.). Probation officers or other agencies making a referral should submit the standard FAOS referral form with background information.
