Provides a 1 year faith-based addiction recovery program for women.
Service offers:
- a long-term, faith-based addiction recovery program for women who have a desire to make changes in their lives, and who are able to understand and participate in an interactive classroom
- 4 parts to the program, Living Waters (3 weeks) and Phases 1 to 3 (4 months)
Includes:
- Living Waters - about equipping women with knowledge and skills to discover who they are, to live to their full potential, and promoting healthy choices; women are required to remain in-house during this pre-program
- Phase 1 - aimed to help women discover who they are being clean and sober; teaching practical life skills such as healthy boundaries in relationships, conflict resolution techniques, and cognitive therapy methods
- Phase 2 - which provides opportunities for women to develop self esteem and build a sense of identity by discussing and learning about families of origin, past neglect, abuse and trauma, and abandonment
- Phase 3 - women plan their transition back into the community and set goals such as continuing education, job training, or accessing their estranged children as appropriate; assistance finding housing and employment before leaving the program; and follow-up support after graduation if desired
