The Alberta Cervical Cancer Screening Program (ACCSP) is a provincial screening program that works to increase the number of women and people with a cervix, aged 25 to 69, and have been sexually active who get screened regularly for cervical cancer using Pap tests. A Pap test is a test that checks the cells of the cervix for abnormal changes. The program also works to help educate individuals about the importance of cervical cancer screening.
